Note: Make sure your hardware is connected correctly before proceeding. Refer to the Hardware Connection section in the product introduction if needed.

2 Direct Installation via Git (Recommended)

This is the recommended method. Run the following commands on your Raspberry Pi:

# Clone the repository
git clone https://github.com/osoyoo/osoyoo-dsi-panel.git
cd osoyoo-dsi-panel

# Run direct installation script
./install-direct.sh display7inch

3. Backlight Brightness Control

3.1 GUI Method

  1. Open the Screen Configuration application from the desktop menu.
  2. Click Screen → DSI-2 (or DSI-1 depending on your setup) → Brightness.
  3. Adjust the slider and click Apply.

3.2 Touchscreen Rotation (Bookworm & Trixie)

Note: This screen supports both portrait and landscape modes. If you want to change the orientation, bind the touch panel first—otherwise the touch input may become misaligned after rotation.
