Summary

In last lesson, we’ve learned how to solder GPIO pins on Raspberry Pi Zero or Zero W.  Raspberry Pi Zero/W’s factory default condition is without GPIO  pin. Before using GPIO pins or install HAT or topper on Pi zero or Zero W, you need to solder pins.

Hardware preparation

40 Pin Header x1

Raspberry Zero/W board x1

Solder iron x1（self-prepare）

Solder wire x1（self-prepare）

Solder

Insert 40pins header to Pi Zero / W, and the short pins through the board.

Warm solder iron，solder pins at the back of Pi zero / W
