The OSOYOO Robot Car is an educational robot based on Micro:bit programming. It features rich common robot functions including line tracking, obstacle avoiding, ultrasonic ranging, music playing Bluetooth/2.4G remote control, IR control, colorful light control, etc.

Thanks to the highly integrated modular design, it is very easy to assemble without soldering or wiring. After spending a few minutes of hardware installation time, you are almost ready, and our open source demo code is ready to help you get started quickly.

It integrates a cute robot, a starter kit and a board for experimentation. It aims to develop logical skills and abilities in the field of computer programming for young students.

  1. Micro:Bit connector: for easily connecting with the micro:bit
  2. Ultrasonic sensor interface: use ultrasonic sensor to detect the distance, connect Trig to p14, connect Echo to P15.
  3. Robot RGB headlights.
  4. Infrared tracking adjustment potentiometer: Used to adjust the sensor sensitivity
  5. RGB LED lights: colorful on board led, controlled by the P16 signal pin
  6. Motor rotation indicator: These four indicator lights respectively show the rotation of the two motors
  7. Passive buzzer: Connect to P0 signal pin
  8. Infrared obstacle avoidance potentiometer: Used to adjust the sensor sensitivity
  9. PWM expansion interface / Servos expansion interface
  10. 9V battery box: Used to install 9v battery and power the circuit
  11. Power Indicator
  12. Infrared receiver: It is used to receive the infrared signal emitted by the infrared remote control, connected with the P3 pin
  13. External DC power interface:When the 9v battery box is not used for power supply, input 6.5-18V DC power through this interface
  14. Robot power switch:

  1. N20 geared motor: reduction rate 1:50, 6V/300RPM
  2. Infrared tracking sensor: reflective infrared photoelectric sensor, for line tracking.
  3. Infrared obstacle avoidance sensor:  reflective infrared photoelectric sensor, for obstacle avoiding
  4. L293DD DC motor driver chip: It lets you drive two DC motors with your Micro:bit board, controlling the speed and direction of each one independently.
